Youth Empowerment
Ahimsa In Action provides funds to support the high school and college educations for several young people in Indonesia. Our students are studying hard in various fields from agriculture, tourism, midwife services and philosophy.
Sari studied to be a midwife in college with help from Ahimsa In Action. She is now setting up a midwife clinic in her village in northern Bali.
Recycling and Environmental Education
Bali is suffering from a serious plastic pollution problem. Ahimsa In Action helped start the community recycling program, Keep Bali Beautiful, to promote recycling in villages and schools in eastern Bali. Keep Bali Beautiful organizes high school Eco Clubs to promote environmental awareness and recycling. It also helps operate a village recycling center in the Klungkung region of Bali.
